Teen Gives Fake Name After Intoxicated Person Report, Carmel Police Say

A teen was arrested after he gave Carmel officers a fake name when being interviewed on Friday, Aug. 25 at the Countryside Kitchen in Mahopac, said Carmel police.

John Casterella, 19, of Bedford Hills, was arrested after police were called to the restaurant to deal with an intoxicated person, police said.

Casterella gave officers a fraudulent name during their investigation and when they discovered he was lying, he was charged with false personation, police added.

He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
